Datapad allows users to create subsets or snapshots of data collected from respondents that can be used directly in statistical tools like R studio and Jamovi for further analysis. Users can push back the analysis, charts and graphs back to the datapad and easily share the entire package using a public link.
Go to: Login » Surveys (Select Survey) » Analytics
Under Dashboard, select Datapad option.
Provide a title to the datapad and select the required fields. The system will auto generate a description for the datapad. Select an option to treat the missing values present in the dataset. Dataset summary will provide an overview of the data in the dataset. Click on the create dataset button to create a dataset.
We are providing 3 options under Impute missing values
Click on copy button to use the dataset created in R studio. URL of the created datapad gets copied. Install RStudio open source software in your machine. Write a command in the workspace as shown below and Run the command to obtain the datapad.
No the data in the datapad will not get updated realtime. The concept here is to provide an ability to create a snapshot. If there are 30 responses and you create a dataset then even when the responses collected increase to 50 there will not be any change in the datapad created earlier with 30 responses.
You can create as many as datapads you want to create for a particular survey. Datapad once created can be reused for analysis whenever required.
Once you create a first datapad, again when you visit datapad page, you will directed to datapad list page where you can view all the datapads created.
